Job summary

Jefferson City Medical Group is seeking a Patient Service Representative Supervisor to oversee front-desk operations at 1241 West Stadium Blvd, Jefferson City, MO. This on-site role directs daily PSR activities and ensures accurate patient registrations and payments.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Specific Competencies:

• Responsible for the orientation, development, training, and ongoing evaluation of the patient service representatives (PSR).
• Directs daily activities and operations of patient service representative staff as it related to patient registration.
• Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, patient eligibility protocols, and the collection of patient payments.
• Exhibits a high level of interpersonal communication with staff and patients.
• Actively seeks to educate and train patient service representatives in a variety of areas to provide the highest level of patient satisfaction.
• Responsible for production of monthly KPI to management as it relates to front office demographics, payment collection, and ad-hoc reporting as instructed.
• Effectively manages patient service representatives across assigned divisions to ensure compliance with organizational workflows and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school graduate or GED

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service setting, preferably six months of receptionist experience in a healthcare setting
