• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service; healthcare receptionist experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing preferred.
• Computer literate with clerical skills; familiarity with office equipment.
• Medical terminology desired.

Responsibilities

• Orientation, development, training, and ongoing evaluation of the patient service representatives (PSR).
• Directs daily activities and operations of PSR staff as it relates to patient registration.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance plans, patient eligibility protocols, and the collection of patient payments.
• Exhibits a high level of interpersonal communication with staff and patients.
• Educates and trains PSRs to provide the highest level of patient satisfaction.
• Produces monthly KPI reports to management related to front office demographics, payment collection, and ad-hoc reporting.
• Effectively manages PSRs across divisions to ensure compliance with workflows and procedures.
