Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Part-time Patient Service Representative (PSR) in the Revenue Cycle department in Sheboygan County, WI. 20 hours per week across 1st and 2nd shifts. Pay range $20.80–$31.20 per hour. Responsibilities include patient check-in, verifying demographics, insurance, and collecting payments.

The PSR helps ensure accurate data, regulatory compliance, and positive patient experiences while coordinating with multiple departments. Prior experience not required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create initial electronic health record for patients.
• Check in/register patients and collect demographics and insurance information.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect co-pays as needed.
• Refer patients to Financial Advocates when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide directions, arrange transportation, and assist patients as needed.
• Monitor and work electronic health record queues.
