Responsibilities

• Creates the initial electronic health record that serves as the foundation of the patient medical record and supports the healthcare team.
• Checks in and registers patients; collects demographic, guarantor, and insurance information and co-pays.
• Generates and discusses financial information with patients; ensures HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
