Forefront Dermatology in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our fast-paced clinic team. You will manage patient check-in, verify insurance, and handle a multi-line phone system while maintaining accurate records and collecting co-pays.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a clinical environment. A high school diploma and experience with basic computer functions are needed, with EHR experience

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer functions.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close clinic duties.
• Greet patients, check in, and verify insurance.
• Scan documents into the EHR system.
• Maintain waiting area and reception area.
• Schedule and manage appointments and no-shows.
• Process follow-ups and prepare for next day.
• Handle clinic supplies and process payments.
