Hartford HealthCare is seeking a personable front desk/patient service representative in Southington, CT. You will greet patients, register arrivals, answer calls, and schedule appointments, contributing to a smooth and welcoming patient experience.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills with travel between offices. Epic experience and knowledge of insurance requirements are preferred, and a positive, patient-centered approach is expected to support Connecticut's

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Positive, customer-focused approach with commitment to patient care.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; multilingual ability desirable.
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to travel between satellite offices.
• Strong knowledge of insurance requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outstanding and professional customer service to promote a positive patient experience.
• Warmly greet and register arriving patients.
• Answer incoming calls promptly; evaluate urgency and direct accordingly.
• Schedule new patient appointments and inform patients of preparations.
• Review Televox appointment confirmations for accuracy.
• Collect co-pays and explain billing policies to patients.
• Maintain a clean waiting room and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Travel required between offices.
