Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients at CityMD locations and register them efficiently. You will coordinate with the team to ensure timely patient care, answer questions about insurance, and manage paperwork with accuracy.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and a patient-centric approach, with a focus on delivering superior service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Experience in high-volume service environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in person and on the phone.
• Register patients and coordinate with team for timely turnaround.
• Enter/update patient information accurately in the system.
• Assist patients with paperwork and questions about insurance.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately and responsibly.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of wait times and inquiries.
