Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to greet patients, register them, and maintain accurate records. You will help ensure timely, accurate patient access and a positive experience by facilitating clear communication between patients and providers.

Working in a fast-paced medical office, you will schedule appointments, respond to inquiries with privacy and safety in mind, and support efficient office operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent, OR a minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Positive, customer-focused approach, with commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients by greeting them, registering patients, and maintaining records.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Schedule appointments to provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate access.
• Respond to incoming correspondence from patients and caregivers with privacy and safety in mind.
