Northwestern Medicine’s Huntley clinic is seeking a Patient Service Representative to welcome patients and guests, verify identities, and guide them through visit procedures. This full-time role supports check-in/out, registration, and payment processing in a busy care setting.

You will collect co-pays, post payments, and ensure accurate demographic/insurance data while maintaining a clean, welcoming reception area and high-quality customer service for every patient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0-2 years experience in a customer service position.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests, verifies identity, and provides visit-related information.
• Handles check-in/check-out procedures as directed.
• Updates patient demographics and insurance information.
• Performs patient registration as needed.
• Obtains patient consents/authorizations.
• Collects co-pays and past due balances; posts payments and closes the cash drawer at end of day.
• Keeps waiting areas clean and comfortable.
• Notifies patients of delays or changes in appointment status.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates with other clinics as needed.
