Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Specialist PRN to support front desk operations at the Cincinnati center. You will greet patients, register and schedule visits, handle multi-line phone calls, and ensure a welcoming, compliant patient experience.

Responsibilities include checking in/out patients, obtaining forms and authorizations, and coordinating with clinicians and support staff to maintain efficient workflow. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year in similar roles preferred.
• Knowledge of state-specific occupational medicine requirements a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; communicate wait times and direct accordingly.
• Check in/out patients in the system and collect required paperwork.
• Explain forms, obtain authorizations when needed, and schedule services.
• Answer phones and direct callers; manage appointment reminders and cancellations.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and organize records.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect patient information.
• Assist in daily administrative functions and center operations.
• Support in referrals processing, patient education, and charges entry.
