Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our front-office team. You will warmly greet patients, manage registrations and scheduling, and guide them through required paperwork while maintaining high quality customer service.

You will handle multi-line phone operations, assist with referrals, and ensure accurate checkout and documentation in our patient management systems, all while upholding HIPAA guidelines and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant job experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state-specific occupational medicine requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors.
• Direct patients and communicate wait times.
• Check in/out patients in the management system.
• Explain forms and ensure proper paperwork completion.
• Answer calls and route inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and forms.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.
• Support center operations and training as needed.
• Assist with referrals, checkout, and patient education.
• Ensure a clean, orderly facility and secure handling of information.
