AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL is seeking a part-time Scheduling Clerk to manage outpatient test scheduling, pre-registration, and patient communications. You will handle calls, verify benefits, and coordinate with providers to ensure timely care.

The role emphasizes accuracy in scheduling, data entry, and customer service, with day-time shifts and a strong focus on patient-centered care. A high school diploma and relevant healthcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• 1+ healthcare experience required.
• 1+ scheduling or patient access experience preferred.
• Experience in office support or customer service preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling requests for outpatient tests and schedule patient exams.
• Maintain scheduling system to be accurate, up-to-date and conflict-free.
• Complete pre-registration for patient clinical and financial data by phone.
• Maintain electronic records with up-to-date account information.
• Handle all incoming lines, specialty calls, and calls to providers.
