Orlando Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations for tests and procedures across departments. You will communicate with physicians, patients and staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointments.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must complete Orlando Health medical terminology course within 90 days of hire.
• One year of retail, customer service or health care.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, rescheduling and cancellation of single/multiple tests and procedures.
• Provide accurate information of department/procedure specific scheduling criteria to expedite patient preparation, arrival location and time.
• Maintain knowledge of registration, scheduling systems and web-based resources.
• Meet departmental goals for productivity, quality and customer service standards.
