Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Patient Scheduler to coordinate clinical staffing for patient visits. You will work with nursing, pharmacy, and warehouse teams to align schedules and ensure timely patient care.

Responsibilities include arranging staffing across clinical areas, confirming deliveries, interpreting physician orders, generating reports, and safeguarding patient confidentiality. Previous scheduling experience and strong MS Word/Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating verbally and in writing to various audiences.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word 2003 or later (docs, formatting, tables).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate staffing is arranged for all patient care.
• Coordinates, monitors and schedules patient care across all clinical areas.
• Contacts patients and clinicians to schedule and confirm deliveries and visits.
• Interprets physician's orders and schedules according to orders.
• Completes tasks and runs reports in required platforms.
• Coordinates scheduling needs with staffing availability.
• Ensures management is aware of staffing needs and requirements.
• Facilitates patient complaints or issues to appropriate department.
• Observes confidentiality of patient and proprietary Option Care information.
