Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Scheduler to coordinate staffing for patient care across clinical areas, working closely with nursing, pharmacy, and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries and visits.

You will schedule according to physician orders and monitor schedules using designated platforms. The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of scheduling experience.
• At minimum, 1 year of experience in a general office administration setting or similar fast paced environment.
• Experience communicating both verbally and in writing to various audiences.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word 2003 or later.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel 2003 or later.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate staffing is arranged for all patient care.
• Coordinates, monitors and schedules patient care across all clinical areas.
• Contacts patients and clinicians to schedule and confirm deliveries and visits.
• Interprets physician’s orders and schedules according to orders.
• Completes tasks and runs reports in required platforms.
• Coordinate scheduling needs with staffing availability.
• Ensures management is aware of staffing needs and requirements.
• Facilitates patient complaints or issues to appropriate department.
• May perform clerk functions in addition to scheduling in absence of a clerk.
• Safeguards confidentiality of patient and company information.
• Accepts other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
