Beacon Health System is seeking an entry-level Medical Office Assistant to support daily patient visits and healthcare team workflow in a physician office in Indiana. The role includes rooming patients, collecting pre-exam information, verifying demographics, and coordinating patient materials.

Responsibilities extend to clerical duties, EMR data entry, and ensuring smooth patient flow through the clinic under supervision of clinic leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be a minimum of 17 years of age.
• Previous medical office experience and the ability to speak and write Spanish are desired.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and assist as needed.
• Collect patient information to complete records for payment and EMR input.
• Maintain patient files, charts and records.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with basic clinical tasks.
• Record vital signs and enter data into the EMR.
• Prepare patient for examination and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Complete other duties to support department operations.
