Beacon Health System in Indiana is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to support the health care team by coordinating patient visits, rooming patients, and gathering pre-exam information. Under supervision, you will enter data into the EMR, verify demographics, assist during exams, and help maintain exam rooms and supply stock.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age of 17 years.
• Previous medical office experience and ability to speak and write Spanish are desired.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and provide assistance.
• Answer telephone calls, take and relay messages, and gather information for patient records.
• Maintain patient files and records.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs and basic measurements.
• Enter data into the EMR and prepare patients for examination.
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms and equipment to ensure turnover.
• Check stock levels and restock exam rooms as needed.
• Preload patient information into the EMR, including health maintenance and past medical history.
