Beacon Health System in Granger, IN is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to support the health care team by coordinating patient visits, rooming patients, and preparing records for visits.

Under supervision, you will perform clerical duties, enter data into the EMR, maintain patient files, and assist with basic clinical tasks. Spanish language ability is desired to help diverse patients.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 17 years of age.
• Spanish language ability preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Receive calls and relay messages accurately.
• Obtain information to complete patient records and payments.
• Maintain patient files and charts.
• Escort patients to rooms and assist with basic clinical tasks.
• Enter data into EMR and record medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and ensure room turnover.
• Assist with maintaining stock in exam rooms.
