Beacon Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff in a busy clinic setting. You will greet patients, assist with examinations, perform routine lab tests, and manage scheduling and data entry in the EMR.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant program (certification preferred), and strong communication skills. Spanish language ability is desired.

Competenze

• Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant program or certification preferred.
• Experience in medical office settings and ability to speak/write Spanish is desirable.
• Proficiency in billing, office procedures and computer skills; familiarity with EMR systems.
• Ability to perform EKGs and other clinic procedures as applicable.

Mansioni

• Assist physician and/or nurse with minor medical procedures.
• Answer telephone and relay messages accurately.
• Admit and discharge patients and maintain patient records.
• Enter and verify data in the EMR and patient information systems.
• Schedule office or hospital procedures; coordinate with hospital staff.
