Job summary

Point Performance is seeking a Patient Relations Coordinator to support a busy Pain Management and Physical Therapy practice in Bethesda, MD. You will handle patient interactions, scheduling, billing coordination, and referral management while working closely with clinicians and the Office Manager to ensure a stellar patient experience.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of experience or an undergraduate degree, strong communication skills, and proficiency with EMR systems like Kareo and WebPT.

Qualifications

• Three years experience and/or Undergraduate degree.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to remain calm in a stressful situation.
• Experience with multi-line telephone systems and data entry software.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding and basic insurance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to the VIP patient population.
• Act as the first point of contact to patients, vendors, referring physicians, and the medical community.
• Greet patients and welcome new patients to the practice.
• Maintain utmost professionalism with coworkers, providers, patients, vendors, and community.
• Respond to queries and requests for assistance for patients and visitors.
• Serve as a liaison with the clinical team and assist with patient flow to consult areas.
• Manage and coordinate Physician scheduling.
• Participate in team events and promotions.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Office Manager on administrative operations.
• Identify and report workplace issues and assist in policy development.
