Qualifications

• 0-2 years of healthcare front desk/admissions or patient registration experience may be required.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families to address questions and provide timely assistance.
• Regulates schedules based on procedure requirements and staffing needs.
• Schedules procedures and pre-registers patients with accurate demographic data.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains necessary authorizations.
• Collects and records patient financial responsibility estimates.
• Maintains registration documentation and ensures complete patient records.
• Collects co-pays or deductibles and informs patients of financial obligations.
• Communicates insurance requirements and answers related questions.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
