Leads, mentors, and supports the registration team with training and policy adherence.
Obtains and verifies patient demographics and insurance information.
Enters patient data accurately and obtains consent/authorization forms.
Audits registration/admission records for accuracy and corrects errors.
Supports QA efforts and process improvements.
Provides on-the-job training and coaching to registrars.
Counsels self-pay patients on financial obligations and payment options.
Notifies departments of patient arrivals and registration status.
Escalates complex issues to management.
Assists with registration-related reporting and special projects.
Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
