Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer knowledge including working with an electronic medical record and Microsoft Office products.
• 2+ years of customer service, clerical, or business environment experience in healthcare
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Associate's or Vocational degree preferred
• 1 year of medical terminology knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets, welcomes, and performs the registration process with patients in person or by phone.
• Collects demographic and insurance information and enters data into the EMR.
• Assists patients with telephone encounters and scheduling needs.
• Collects co-pays and remaining balances; answers questions about financial assistance.
• Performs Epic and In-Basket responsibilities and reviews MyChart appointments.
