Job summary

Allina Health seeks a Clinic Business Representative to welcome patients at in-person visits or by phone, conduct standard registrations, and collect demographic and insurance data for entry into the EMR. You will help ensure accurate scheduling and a positive first impression for patients.

The role requires strong computer skills, familiarity with EMR systems, and 2+ years in customer service or clerical work within healthcare. Day shift with 80 hours per two-week period and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of computer knowledge with an electronic medical record (EMR) and Microsoft Office.
• 2+ years of customer service, clerical, or healthcare environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or by phone and register them with demographic and insurance information in the EMR.
• Collect co-pays and/or balances; provide information on financial assistance programs.
• Assist with scheduling, no-shows, and end-of-day reconciliation as applicable.
