Job summary

Allina Health Imaging Center Edina is seeking a part-time Clinic Business Representative Associate to greet patients, register them accurately, and provide telephone support. You will collect demographics and insurance details in the EMR, handle co-pays, and assist with financial assistance questions.

The role includes occasional weekend shifts and daily lobby maintenance. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of computer experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge.
• Customer service, clerical, or other business office environment experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in person or by phone.
• Perform patient registration collecting demographic and insurance information into the EMR.
• Assist patients with telephone encounters and direct to appointments or procedures.
• Collect co-pays and remaining balances; obtain signatures as needed.
• Respond to questions regarding financial assistance programs.
• End of Day reconciliation and weekly downtime checks.
• Maintain and clean lobby/check-in areas and assist with office communications.
• May schedule appointments and participate in staff meetings.
