Allina Health in Minnesota seeks a Clinic Business Representative Associate to welcome patients and handle efficient check-in at the point of care. You will collect demographics, insurance data, and enter details into the EMR, supporting in-person or phone interactions to create a smooth care journey.

You will also manage the lobby, assist with check-in tasks, answer questions, and may participate in prescription refills or end-of-day reconciliations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with basic competency as per job description.
• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge.
• Preferred: high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Customer service, clerical or other office experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in person or by phone and conducts registration.
• Collects demographic and insurance data and enters into EMR.
• Assists patients with telephone encounters.
• Directs patients to appointments and handles payments as needed.
• Manages lobby area, restocks supplies, and assists with calls.
• Performs End of Day reconciliation and may assist with prescriptions.
• Other duties as assigned.
