Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; background checks required.
• Obtains demographic/billing/insurance information and enters into systems.
• May handle pre-certifications and authorizations; prepares consent forms and obtains signatures.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient demographics, billing and insurance information; enters data into registration and billing systems.
• Collects deposits/co-pays/deductibles and records payments; provides receipts.
• Prepares armbands and balances daily receipts; follows up on system flags.
