Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a business, billing, or healthcare scheduling/registration/admissions setting preferred.
• Must maintain professional and courteous manners in dealing with customers and staff.
• Must demonstrate appropriate and timely independent judgment.
• Ability to proficiently utilize a computer and software programs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain photo ID, insurance cards, signed forms and orders and scan into the medical record at registration/admission.
• Maintain system work queues and monitor daily tasks.
• Answer telephone, fax, scan, DPMs, and perform duties as assigned by the manager.
• Cross-train with System Scheduling, Authorization, & Referrals to assist as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow and maximize reimbursement for services.
• Promote harmonious intra- and inter-departmental relationships and deliver quality customer service.
