Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Registration Coordinator to support patient-facing registration in outpatient settings, ensuring positive, professional, and efficient encounters. The role handles new registrations, check-ins for scheduled and walk-in visits, and may support Urgent Care, Radiology, and Access Clinic check-ins seven days a week across day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year customer service and/or administrative support experience.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience working in a health care setting or related field.
• Significant experience working with the general public in a health care/customer service environment.
• Familiarity with other cultures/bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Create new registrations and check patients in for scheduled and walk-in clinical visits in the outpatient setting.
• Provide support for Urgent Care, Radiology, and Access Clinic check-ins seven days a week, day and evening times.
• Schedule patient return visit appointments.
• Minimize clinic access delays and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Inform of and collect signed consent for care.
• Maintain infection prevention standards.
• Establish systems and resources to improve processes and the patient experience.
