Seattle Children’s is seeking a Registration Coordinator to support patient registrations and check-ins across outpatient clinics, including urgent care and other departments as needed. The role emphasizes a positive, professional experience for patients and families.

The position requires a high school diploma, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in healthcare or customer service. It supports seven days per week operations, day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year customer service and/or administrative support experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience working in a health care setting or related field.
• Significant experience working with the general public in a health care/customer service environment.
• Familiarity with other cultures/bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and check them in for scheduled and walk-in visits.
• Schedule patient return visit appointments and minimize access delays.
• Communicate with patients/families and obtain signed consent as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and assist in improving patient experience.
