Job summary

Ohio ENT is seeking a friendly Patient Registration Specialist to join our Neuro-Ophthalmology practice at the Bethel Road office. As the first contact, you will greet patients, register them, verify insurance, collect payments, and answer calls. Monday–Friday schedules offer a better work/life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet all customers.
• Register all patients (may be for both Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions).
• Update all patient demographics each visit.
• Schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Scan documents into EHR, as needed.
• Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items sold.
• Verify referrals are in place for patients.

We are seeking a friendly and organized Patient Registration Specialist to join our team. This role supports our Neuro-Ophthalmology practice located at our Bethel Road office location. As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience. You will be required to greet customers, register patients, and collect payments. In addition, the Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and answering incoming calls.
