Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians in Columbus is seeking a friendly Patient Registration Specialist to greet patients, register them, collect payments and verify insurance. This frontline role supports a positive patient experience in a busy medical office.

Responsibilities

• Update all patient demographics each visit.
• Schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Scan documents into EHR, as needed.
• Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items sold.
• Verify referrals are in place for patients.

We are seeking a friendly and organized Patient Registration Specialist - Float to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. You will be required to greet customers, register patients, and collect payments. In addition, the Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and answering incoming calls.
