Job summary

UroHealth Partners in Nebraska seeks a dedicated front-line patient advocate to ensure a professional and courteous environment for every patient. You will assist with check-in/check-out, enter demographics and insurance data, and use EMR systems to schedule and preregister procedures while explaining procedures to patients and their families.

The role emphasizes teamwork, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• EMR systems experience required (1 year).
• Medical office experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Serve as front-line patient advocate during check-in and follow-up, scheduling procedures as directed by physicians.
• Verify and enter demographics and insurance data into scheduling and billing system; collect co-pays and issue receipts.
• Coordinate and schedule procedures with physicians; communicate instructions to patients and families.
• Act as a customer service representative ensuring efficient communication via phone or in person.
• Document procedures and instructions; coordinate paperwork to meet physician, clinic, and insurance requirements.
• Maintain relationships with physicians and staff; respond to urgent situations per protocols; multi-task effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned per UHP policies.
