Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, manage check-in/out, and answer calls with professionalism. The role involves reviewing charts for accuracy, updating insurance information, and collecting payments while supporting EMR workflows.

The position requires strong communication skills, a high school diploma, and at least one year in a medical setting. Travel to other clinics may be needed, and the office operates in a collaborative healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients, colleagues, managers and executive team.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance organization preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior use of EMR systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Effectively handles the patient check-in/checkout process.
• Answers calls addressing appointment times, patient requests and general inquiries.
• Reviews patient’s chart for accuracy prior to upcoming appointment and ensures all required information is included for the physician to see the patient.
• Performs scanning and sorting within EMR system.
• Verifies and updates current insurance information with the Patient.
• Collects Patient payments.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
