Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Specialist, Patient Registration to streamline new patient onboarding and transition to home infusion services in our Los Angeles area teams.

You will collaborate with sales, nursing and pharmacy to coordinate discharge, documentation and upfront payment assistance to eligible patients. You will contribute to a smooth referral process, ensure clean claims and support the Patient Registration Supervisor with special assignments as needed, all

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patient to financial assistance program).
• Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing).
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
