Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration for an on-site position in San Francisco. You will coordinate patient transitions to home/AIS, align with Sales, and prepare onboarding for new patients and referral partners.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years of related experience, and strong customer service skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities.
• Experience in healthcare or medical billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment and directs patients to financial assistance if needed.
• Supports deny management and follow-up on missing paperwork.
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments.
