Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Patient Liaison in Stratford, CT to support hospital and home-delivery services. You will handle equipment delivery, patient education, billing coordination, and insurance verification while driving revenue with referrals from facilities.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of AdaptHealth policies and procedures.
• Represent AdaptHealth professionally with patients and hospital staff.
• Maintain and increase revenue from hospital/facility orders.
• Develop knowledge of home equipment, insurance guidelines, eligibility, and reimbursement.
• Fulfill equipment orders with correct paperwork and delivery actions.
• Deliver or pick up supplies promptly and professionally.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment usage.
• Inform patients about rights, billing, and surveys.
• Initiate insurance verification and explain financial responsibility.
• Discuss insurance coverage and arrange payments.
• Process payments using electronic tools.
• Obtain signatures for paperwork and document delivery details.
• Return and tag equipment for repair when needed.
• Troubleshoot and service equipment and plan switch-outs.
• Conduct sales and service rounds within hospitals to promote AdaptHealth.
