Job summary

Urology Centers of Alabama seeks a Medical Front Desk Clerk to warmly greet patients and manage check-in at our Alabaster office. You will capture documents, enter data into the EMR, prepare files for visits, and alert clinicians when patients are ready for further care.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong interpersonal skills. Prior healthcare exposure and bilingual abilities are a plus, with a patient-centric, confidential approach. Day shifts, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication to interact with patients and staff.
• Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Proficiency with a PC, Windows, MS Office, and EMR system.
• Maintain strict confidentiality per HIPAA and UCA guidelines.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at check-in at kiosks.
• Collect necessary documents and input information into the EMR system.
• Prepare patient files for office visits.
• Notify physician or nurse that the patient is ready to be taken back.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and communicate post-visit instructions.
