• Medical insurance verification experience preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate approach.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients; schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for new patients.
• Identify and collect patient balances; communicate financial responsibilities clearly.
• Process patient payments and update balances in systems.
• Coordinate with care teams regarding authorizations and benefits.
• Assist patients with grant applications and use grant portals as needed.
• Coordinate transportation for insured or grant-supported travel when required.
• Review daily reports to correct missing or incorrect system data.
• Ensure clean claims submission and minimize payer denials through policy adherence.
• Support special projects using Excel/Google Sheets and share results.
• Protect patient PHI in accordance with HIPAA standards.
