Job summary

MidWest Eye Center, part of EyeSouth Partners, seeks a Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for patients. You will handle check-ins/outs, calls, emails, scheduling, and basic billing support in a welcoming clinic environment.

The position primarily operates at the Thomas More Parkway location, with potential travel to other clinics. Prior medical front desk experience is preferred and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year medical office experience preferred.
• Nextech/ICP experience strongly preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify appointment details.
• Collect documents (ID, insurance cards) and schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Collect co-pays and document financial responsibility.
• Enter data accurately in the practice management system.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Provide information about services and wait times.
• Support communication between patients and clinical staff.
