Colonial Group is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to greet patients and visitors, collect payments, update demographics and insurance, and provide information at arrival. You will discharge patients with relevant follow-up details and help coordinate referrals and appointments.

The role requires basic computer skills, confidentiality, and strong communication to support smooth front-desk operations in a medical office setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to learn Pediatric Associate procedures and policies.
• Proficient grammar, spelling and verbal skills.

Responsabilités

• Check-in patients by updating demographics, insurance, PCP, pharmacy, collect co-pays and balances.
• Check-out patients, provide visit summaries, referrals and follow-up appointments.
• Verify insurance and contact patients if information is not active.
• Post charges and payments; reconcile accounting records.
• Scan, upload and manage documents in the DMS.
• Maintain mess-free front desk and waiting area; assist staff as needed.
