Eye Associates Northwest seeks a Front Desk Receptionist in Seattle to greet patients, manage scheduling, and keep precise medical records with excellent attention to detail.

You will answer calls, route inquiries, verify records, coordinate referrals, and collect payments using a computer-based scheduler.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 1 year in a fast-paced patient care or customer service role; healthcare experience is a plus. Competitive benefits package provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment focusing on patient care or customer service.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook and Excel; data entry and medical office software knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and maintains a filing system for patient charts and verifies records.
• Answers calls, directs inquiries, or initiates triage slips for medical staff.
• Schedules appointments and enters data into the scheduler.
• Greets and directs patients, salespeople, and visitors.
• Coordinates referrals and collects payments; reconciles daily cash reports.
