Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Seattle, WA is seeking a Patient Services Associate to greet patients, check-in, collect payments, coordinate appointments and support billing processes. You will help maintain efficient front-office workflows and ensure a positive patient experience.

The role collaborates with clinicians and staff to verify insurance, schedule diagnostics, and handle high-volume calls with professionalism. Prior medical office experience and strong computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years recent experience in a related position in medical office setting preferred.
• Strong computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) preferred.
• Experience in coding, office billing, insurance and government payer regulations, and other third-party billing requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner and manage check-in/check-out.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, including follow-up and referrals as needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect pre-authorizations and benefits information as required.
• Assist with insurance inquiries and time-of-service payment expectations; maintain HIPAA compliance.
