Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC seeks a Clinic Operations Representative to provide patient services and administrative support in clinic operations. You will interact with families, physicians and staff, verify demographics, and assist with scheduling, billing, and referrals.

Role requires a High School diploma and 1 year of relevant experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and typing 35 wpm preferred. Training includes ambulatory services and compliance with privacy notices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of billing, patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification experience required.
• Typing speed minimum 35 wpm; Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and register patients in the department's scheduling system.
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance information accurately.
• Notify parents about referrals, pre-authorizations, and payments as needed.
• Reschedule as necessary and greet patients with courtesy at checkout.
• Obtain consents and ensure HIPAA notices are distributed appropriately.
• Use systems (EPRS, SCI, Cerner, IDX, McKesson) to keep data in sync.
