The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and proficiency with standard office software. You will schedule appointments, collect payments, and coordinate with care teams to ensure a smooth patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient financial services and insurance processes.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with common office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Register/check-in patients and collect signatures, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Verify insurance eligibility and facilitate pre-certifications, referrals, and authorizations.
• Calculate and collect patient liability; explain payment policies and resources.
• Enter payments and reconcile daily transactions; balance cash drawer and prepare deposits.
• Schedule visits and procedures, maximize reimbursement, and confirm next-day appointments.
• Communicate with patients and care teams to resolve concerns and manage patient flow.
• Assist with patient records requests in compliance with policies.
• Provide patient services to support flow (escort, vitals, history, mail/fax distribution, etc.).
• Work independently within structured routines to ensure timely patient care.
