Banner Medical Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Front Desk Patient Financial Services Representative to welcome patients, verify insurance, and guide financial aspects of care. Location: Banner Health Center, 4375 E Irma Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85050.

Schedule: Mon–Thu 7:00am–7:00pm; Fri 7:00am–5:00pm; schedules vary. The role supports registration, insurance verification, and patient liability collection, contributing to accurate posting and timely reimbursement while maintaining patient-facing

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Experience in patient financial services or healthcare billing preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in common office software (Word, Excel, databases).

Responsibilities

• Register/check-in patients and collect required signatures.
• Verify insurance eligibility; obtain referrals/authorizations as needed.
• Calculate and collect patient liability; explain financial policies.
• Enter payments/charges; balance cash drawer; daily deposits.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with care teams; manage patient flow.
• Assist with patient records requests and provide general patient services.
