Banner Health is seeking a Front Office/Customer Experience Representative at the Greenway location in Phoenix to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will handle registrations, scheduling, and insurance verification while guiding patients through financial policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of patient financial services or insurance processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with common office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Register/check-in patients and collect required information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications or authorizations.
• Collect patient liability and explain payment policies.
• Enter payments and reconcile daily transactions.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with care teams.
• Communicate with patients and staff in person, by phone and email.
• Assist with patient records requests and maintain confidentiality.
• Support in routing and organizing mail, faxes, and supplies.
• Work independently within structured routines in a fast-paced setting.
