AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL is seeking a detail-oriented member to assist with patient financial services. The role involves evaluating uninsured and underinsured patients for eligibility in federal and state programs, preparing applications, and guiding patients through the process.

You will collaborate with care teams to ensure accurate documentation, compliance with HIPAA, and timely outreach to patients and agencies. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, day shift in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient financial services preferred.
• Familiarity with government assistance programs (Medicaid, SSA) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates AdventHealth core values in daily behavior.
• Assess uninsured/underinsured patients' financial eligibility for federal/state programs.
• Screen and apply patients for applicable financial assistance programs.
• Communicate clearly with patients about program requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate with external agencies and departments to support approval processes.
