The role requires high school graduation and at least 1 year in a medical office or financial assistance environment.

Onsite in Winter Park, daytime hours. Responsibilities include reconciling statements, assisting with Medicaid and other programs, and communicating clearly with patients.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Proficiency in basic math and English communication.
• Strong customer service and confidentiality abilities.

Responsabilités

• Sets payment arrangements with uninsured and/or underinsured patients and physicians' offices.
• Ensures financial statements are scanned and patient accounts are adjusted accurately for audits.
• Reviews accounts proposed for collection and advises leadership.
• Conducts reconciliations with physician offices and processes refunds or charges.
• Works with multiple departments for proper discharge planning and financial assessments.
