AdventHealth Sebring seeks a patient financial navigator to perform Medicare compliance reviews, estimate patient financial responsibility, and coordinate with insurers for pre-authorizations. The role supports front-line patient access and billing teams in a busy outpatient setting.

Strong communication, bilingual abilities, and HIPAA familiarity are essential. Part-time schedule with day shift enhances patient experience and financial accuracy across the clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to learn and use multiple healthcare-related software.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and patient data handling.

Responsabilités

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and issues ABNs as needed.
• Estimates patient financial responsibility and collects or sets up payment plans.
• Verifies eligibility and benefits with insurers and obtains pre-authorizations.
• Registers patients for services and ensures accuracy of medical records.
• Provides excellent customer service and documents conversations with payers.
